Meet Michelle

Michelle is the consummate Information Technology Recruiter and Headhunter. She is the President and Senior Principal Recruiter for Turning Point Search, an Information Technology Professional Recruiting Boutique in metro-Detroit, MI. She is a 1998 MBA graduate, with a concentration in Marketing and a 1994 BA graduate, with a major in Philosophy from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. After graduation, Michelle started her recruiting career at Snelling Search in Kettering, OH closing her first hire after just 6 weeks of employment. From there she moved to Michigan where she was hired by Syntel, Inc., an International IT Consulting Company in Troy, MI. In 2000 she was recruited by CIBER, a global IT consulting services company and became the Lead Recruiter to oversee and mentor the Detroit-based recruiting team. Consecutive “President’s Club” Award Winner 2000 through 2005, in 2004, she received the CIBER Pinnacle Award out of 68 recruiters throughout nation closing over $15.5MM in new hire revenue.

Compelled by the ever expanding supply and demand gap between Information Technology positions and Information Technology candidates, Michelle decided to go independent and started her own recruiting business in 2006, Turning Point Search. She is now at the top of her game, continuing to make her mark in metro-Detroit, Chicago, and New York, as a leading IT recruiting professional who is internally driven by her determined entrepreneurial spirit. Providing exceptional recruiting services to clients such as TD Ameritrade, Highstreet IT Solutions, W3R Consulting, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, among, others, Michelle is dedicated to delivering only the most brilliant and talented IT professionals in the industry.

Michelle is also a family focused wife, Mom of two, yoga and meditation practitioner, traveler, snow skier, wine and food enthusiast, avid reader, and community volunteer. She loves spending time with her close family and friends, is happy to engage in philosophical conversation, and loves studying every aspect of other cultures.
